Kleber für Gummi: Was Sie darüber erfahren sollten
Gummizement wird auf Basis von natürlichem oder auch synthetischem Gummi hergestellt. Mit Gummizement lassen sich verschiedene Teile elastisch verbinden. Die Verbindung ist besonders feuchtigkeitsresistent. Gummizement hält auch sehr niedrige Temperaturen sehr gut stand. Sowohl im Inneren von Fahrzeugen als auch außen am Wagen wird Gummizement daher häufig eingesetzt.
Verschiedene Sorten Gummizement
- Vulkanisierter Gummizement. Dieser Gummizement besteht aus zwei Komponenten. Diese beiden Komponenten werden direkt vor der Anwendung miteinander vermischt. Die so entstehende Masse arbeitet sehr zuverlässig und ist auch Lösungsmitteln gegenüber sehr resistent.
- Nicht vulkanisierter Gummizement. Dieser Klebstoff hat nur eine einzige Komponente. Die Mischung wird fertig geliefert. Der Klebstoff wird hart, sobald sich das Lösungsmittel verflüchtigt hat
Gummizement richtig anwenden
- Achten Sie bei der Verarbeitung darauf, dass Gummizement brennbar ist. Er darf nicht in die Nähe von offenem Feuer gelangen.
- Einige Bestandteile des Gummizement sind giftig für die Atemwege. Benutzen Sie den Gummizement daher nur im Freien oder in gut belüfteten Räumen.
- Die Oberflächen der aneinander zu klebenden Teile muss stets gründlich gereinigt werden. Hierzu werden spezielle Reiniger und Lösungsmittel benutzt.
- Auf der Klebstoff-Verpackung gibt der Hersteller Empfehlungen zur Anwendung. Beachten Sie diese unbedingt vor der Anwendung. Die Produktkarte zeigt auch an wie dick der Gummizement aufgetragen werden muss. Die Wartezeit sollte ebenfalls beachtet werden.
- Manche Gummizement-Arten müssen auf 160 °C erhitzt werden um richtig aushärten zu können. Verwenden Sie hierfür am besten eine Heißluftpistole
